In March, the Gianyar Kindergarten in Bali focused on engaging themes and interactive learning experiences for the children. The month began with the theme of “Air Transportation,” where students participated in activities such as number sorting to form images of hot air balloons, helicopter collages using natural materials, and free drawing of air vehicles.
The following week shifted to the theme of “Professions,” with a subtheme of “Farmers.” Activities focused on the role of farmers, incorporating creative exercises such as rice seed collages and picture-matching activities related to farming.
Later in the month, the school engaged in the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) under the Merdeka Curriculum, specifically the theme “I Love the Earth.” Children learned about environmental conservation by watching educational videos on waste sorting before participating in a hands-on project where they transformed used bottles and pipettes into pencil cases. A special highlight of the month was the celebration of Pengrupukan and Ngarap Ogoh-ogoh in Bali on the eve of Nyepi Day, where a representative student from each class participated in the cultural event.
