This month at the Turtle Project in Lombok was filled with dedicated conservation work and exciting milestones. The work included feeding turtles, cleaning tanks, and cutting fish to prepare food. The team also carried out frequent beach clean-ups and went crab-catching to support the turtles’ diet. Special highlights this month included the arrival of 1,427 eggs, the hatching of 221 baby turtles, and the release of 300 baby turtles and 16 adult turtles back into the ocean. One adult turtle also arrived for care.
