June was full of energy, teamwork, and progress at the Sports Program in Cape Verde, centered around final rounds of the TAÇA GRACIOSA Tournament.
Our U-13 team impressed everyone, finishing in 2nd place overall in their first-ever tournament. The U-15 team faced tough competition but showed great spirit and commitment throughout all six rounds. In between matches, the kids trained, focusing on finishing drills, passing games, and team-building. Highlights included a bonfire at Black Sand Beach. We ended the month with a beach clean-up and a small celebration to thank the kids for their incredible efforts. A month of sports, learning, and community spirit!
