Each week in September, children in the Goa slum program engaged in a balance of academics, creativity and health awareness. Basic mathematics lessons progressed from simple addition and subtraction to multiplication and division, while English was taught through stories and simple conversations. The kids also enjoyed drawing and games, keeping learning light and engaging. Beyond the classroom, special initiatives included a dental check-up with brushing lessons and snack preparation days where children got to share pav, sandwiches and samosas. Together, these activities nurtured both knowledge and community spirit.
