Hands-On Conservation: Feeding, Cleaning & Releasing
Throughout October, the Sea Turtle Conservation team in Nusa Penida remained fully immersed in the rhythms of rescue, rehabilitation and release. Under the coordination of Agus we dedicated our days to the fundamental tasks that keep the center thriving with the following tasks: preparing fresh food through fish cutting and crab catching, cleaning tanks to maintain optimal water quality and feeding over 280 turtles throughout the month. These activities not only supported the turtles’ recovery but also helped mimic their natural diet and build strength for eventual release.
Each day we reinforce the importance of detail, consistency and teamwork in sustaining a healthy marine environment.
Standout Stats
