Kicking Goals, Building Confidence: October on the Pitch
We had steady momentum for the Sport Academy in Hua Hin, where 45 local children (some as young as U10) trained weekly. Sessions ran from Monday to Friday, 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM, with drills focusing on warm-ups, dribbling, passing, shooting and above all – teamwork. Despite one rainout and the occasional cancelled match, we remained strong, even during the school break, with children returning eagerly for training.
New energy arrived mid-month bringing fresh drills, goalkeeper expertise and positive rapport with the children. The month included a friendly win (3–0) against the Sea Hawks Hua Hin team in the U12–13 category, an internal tournament for U10 and U11 players, and participation in a community charity football event at Wat Nong Yai Uam. These matches not only helped build technical skills but also boosted the kids’ confidence, communication and love for the game.

Standout Stats
- 22 students participated across three sessions
- 3 creative learning sessions held during the festival period
- 2 classrooms adapted lessons to align with student availability
- 1 culturally sensitive approach to learning continuity
