Hearts Full, Minds Open: A Holiday Camp to Remember
During China’s National Day holiday, our team hosted an unforgettable countryside learning camp in Guangxi. Set among ripening persimmons and starlit skies, the experience blended emotional development, cultural exploration and joyful hands-on learning.
Children practiced mindfulness, built emotional awareness and expanded their global understanding through storytelling, themed activities and English lessons. From skateboarding and science experiments to badminton and crafting resin keychains, each day offered space for creativity and movement. Volunteers joined in Tai Chi sessions and explored local dialects and markets, while a friendly dog named Cream became the group’s unexpected guide to a sunset view.
The week closed with a Mid-Autumn Festival BBQ and a surprise birthday celebration that brought everyone together in warmth and shared joy.
