This month, our featured project is the Green Lion Kindergarten in Bali, Indonesia. Established in 2015, we initially operated in a rented building in the village of Blahbatuh before moving to our own facility in the Gianyar area in 2023. Built entirely by volunteers, the kindergarten provides education to underprivileged children. Since the start of this project, we have proudly graduated 385 students, and we currently have around 45 students enrolled, divided into two classes.
In February, we focused on curriculum-based studies with themes centered around Recreation and Transportation, incorporating engaging activities for the children. They participated in word games, image matching, cutting exercises, and making paper cameras. Special celebrations included Saraswati Day and Science Day, while creative tasks like drawing, coloring, and making Valentine’s love papers added excitement to their learning experience.
A highlight of the month was a swimming outing at Kemenuh Butterfly and Orchid Pool.
