This month at the Ecobricks Project in the Philippines was marked by dedicated environmental action and meaningful community engagement. We conducted regular street and coastal cleanups, collecting waste and segregating usable materials to create 23 new ecobricks, while also collecting 92 additional bricks.
Beyond cleanup, the team led educational sessions at the summer camp, teaching children about water pollution, eco-tourism, and climate change, empowering them to become young environmental stewards. Despite some rainy days limiting outdoor work, creativity continued with the painting of a new mural on the school’s wall fence, helping beautify the space while spreading an environmental message.
