This month, our team made strong progress in mangrove restoration and community outreach. We planted a total of 1,400 square meters of land and collected and planted 2,739 mangrove propagules across several field visits. We visited the mangrove area twice each week to collect and plant propagules, contributing directly to shoreline protection and habitat regeneration. In addition to fieldwork, we focused on environmental education and awareness. We created and installed posters along the village streets to promote conservation messages, continued painting educational posters, and even taught schoolchildren about the importance of protecting the environment. We also spent time on the community vegetable farm, planting bitter gourd as part of our sustainable agriculture efforts. A busy and productive month with meaningful contributions to both nature and the local community.
