This past month the Greenway School was packed with learning, movement and creativity. Students practiced handwashing and tooth brushing, strengthened their reading habits with weekly library classes and explored expressive movement through Khmer traditional dance lessons every Friday. We also had the final week of academic assessments after completing 8 full learning units across four core skills: speaking, reading, listening and writing.
The program also took learning outdoors with garden classes and open-air study sessions, giving students fresh air and new perspectives. Volunteers supported classroom learning while helping keep hygiene, culture and play at the heart of daily school life.
- 3 weeks of Library Class = 100% student engagement
- Khmer Dance every Friday = Cultural pride in motion
- 5 hygiene lessons = cleaner healthier habits
- 4 skills tested: Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening
