We were full of growth at Siem Reap Greenway School, where students explored hygiene, creativity and cooperation. From cutting nails and classroom cleaning to decorating, drawing and storytelling, the month was packed with hands-on learning. Students also welcomed support with English lessons, classroom interaction and boosted confidence through drawing and games. One major highlight was the Spelling Bee competition, which students helped plan and prepare for over two weeks.
Lessons extended beyond the classroom too. Students shared umbrellas during rainy days, reviewed homework together, and cleaned every corner of their classroom – even the spiderwebbed ceilings! They learned about health, the five senses and the power of sharing. Storytelling in English became a regular activity, improving their reading and comprehension week by week. With each activity, students not only learned but led with growing independence, confidence and curiosity.
- 5 weeks of storytelling = stronger reading skills
- Full classroom cleaning = spiderwebs gone, confidence up
- 2 weeks of prep = 1 epic Spelling Bee
- 1 lesson on the five senses = 91 curious minds engaged
