Women’s Empowerment and Skill Development Project

The Women’s Empowerment and Skill Development Project in Sri Lanka was launched in 2025 with the aim of supporting women from underprivileged backgrounds and marginalized communities. The project focuses on empowering women through practical skill-building, supporting them become self-sufficient and economically independent. Participants are trained in a variety of income-generating activities, and we work to create direct market access for their products by removing the need for middlemen and ensuring they receive fair value for their work.

In addition to skills training, the program also offers counseling support and conducts regular awareness sessions on women’s health, gender equality, and personal development. These sessions are designed to build knowledge, boost confidence, and encourage women to advocate for their rights and well-being.

By combining economic opportunity with emotional support and education, this initiative supports women improve their quality of life, contribute meaningfully to their families and communities, and move forward with a renewed sense of purpose and empowerment.
