This month was full of action and progress at our sea turtle conservation and seaweed farming project in Makunduchi. We conducted our daily activities like cleaning turtle tanks, collecting and planting seaweed, and maintaining the environment. One major highlight was the successful rescue of a 12kg green sea turtle caught in a fishing trap. Thanks to a local fisherman, we were able to bring it to safety. We also did a beach cleanup, as well as traditional rope-making for our seaweed farm.
